FAQ
What do you actually do in Bureau Brothers?
You run a family construction business. You start by choosing a property to buy, either a fixer-upper that needs work or a newer home. Then you hire Bob and his sons to work on it. Once the house is ready, it becomes a turn-key rental, ready for a tenant to move in. Each round is about taking a property from purchase to that finished rental.
Is it a simulation game or a strategy game?
Both. The game is listed as simulation and strategy. The strategy side is deciding which properties are worth buying and how to run the business around them. The simulation side is the running of the family construction business itself.
Where does the game take place?
Across three places: East Tennessee, Georgia and Florida. You buy houses in those areas and run the business across them.
Do I need construction experience to enjoy it?
The store page does not say how much building knowledge the game assumes. What it does say is that you hire Bob and his sons to do the work, so you direct the family crew rather than doing the building yourself. Your main decisions are which houses to buy and how to put the family to work on them.
